OH BY THE ANGEL, HOW DID YOU MAKE THESE?!?! I was just you know, scrolling through nd I saw the rune templates and Im like :DH How can I make these?

Hey there! Thanks for the question! I actually took the original runes and made templates, which I then reversed and printed on paper so that when I make the iron on transfers they are right-side-up. If you take a peek at my previous post, you’ll see the right-side-up templates that I made before I flipped them around.

The crystals are applied by hand, one teeny tiny crystal at a time. But I think the results are totally worth it. I’m so ready to iron these onto something.. just have to decide.. on what.. :P

Remember the rune templates I posted a little while ago? ♥ Previous post? Well, I found time to actually MAKE the templates, yay!! I’m super pumped that they work as well as they did. Most of them are pretty small, maybe 2.5 - 3 inches as the biggest dimension [except for the “bind to” rune].. I think a perfect size for a pocket decoration or something. Ohhhh.. just had a thought too that these would look so cute on jeans!!!!! ♥

So I plowed through The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices in the span of about 2 weeks.. I can’t wait for the release of the movie (City of Glass)!!! In preparation, since I am not planning on getting any tattoos, I made up these rune templates so I can iron some sparklies onto my tank top. ♥ I also have “Shadowhunter,” “Nephilim,” and “angelic power” templates ready to go.. I especially like the angelic power one since it uses a rune for the “g” ♥ Ohhhhhhhh ~ I simply cannot wait!!! :D

These are rattles!! YES! Rattles!! Aren’t they cute?! ♥

OK, I had put needle felting aside for over a month while I made some other crafts.. but then a friend of mine asked if I could make a rattle for a baby shower gift, having seen one I had made for my niece a couple of months ago. Well, this is completely differently from what I had made before, but I think it’s way cuter.

These are about the size of a skeeball and fits pretty nicely in your hand. I just used a plastic egg with some beads inside, then carefully felted around it until I got to the size I wanted. The rest is pretty straight forward.. just remember that if you are giving it as a gift make sure the parts are completely felted in and NOTHING can be pulled off. ♥

I couldn’t help myself.. these are definitely inspired by something I saw on Pinterest and then I felt the need to make some for my lil’ niece. You really only need a few key ingredients and then you’re set to go. I did modify a few things though, just to make it my own.

Definitely go with the matte red ornaments if you are going to color in the top in black. A black marker will do nicely. Oh, and since my ornaments are the smaller ones, I used a shot glass to set them in to make the black line to color in the top. :P Whatever works I guess. I wanted specific white buttons as well, so I went hunting for them.. well worth my effort I think. :) I love the look! The ears.. well, I thought that was the hardest part - probably because I ended up buying a foam board that was super thick? It was hard to cut with scissors so I’d suggest maybe using an X acto knife instead? All in all, I think they are adorable and hopefully will be loved by the little one. ♥

I had been working on this set for a while now and I’m really proud of it! It took a long time to do.. cleaning up the images, resizing, then dotting by hand to create the template patterns. ♥

Soooo… one of my friends posted a snitch bracelet on Pinterest. ♥ I loved it so much I decided to figure out how to make one of my own! It actually was quite easy, but I did have to break out the power tools for the second set of holes. Yikes!! I am so afraid of power tools after a million horror torture movies gave me nightmares.. but my sweet hubby showed me how to use a drill and clamps to keep my hands safe. Ta-daaaaa~~ ♥ Snitch bracelet done! :D So happy!

I’ve certainly been busy and neglecting my reading.. :P (If you are a Game of Thrones fan, you can see the book I’m reading is book 5.. well, sort of trying to read, lol.) I just love this craft! I’ve gotten a few requests to make some specific items too and I loved the challenge!

I think the most challenging so far is the chibi Jenny doll my husband asked me to make. It turned out looking a bit like my Wii character, which is fine by me!!!She’s usually standing on his laptop now, staring him down. :P

Yes, this is one of those mugs written with a Porcelaine pen. Note: NOT A SHARPIE!!! I’m trying this out because I see it all over Pinterest and I want to see if it works for myself.. I haven’t baked them yet, but they are water safe. I would still probably wash them by hand anyway. ♥ Going to think up some cute designs or sayings I can print on these and maybe use them for gifts!! Yay!

MORE needle felted projects! ♥ I think I love the kittens more than the penguins.. yikes!

Some ideas for using these, other than just for display, would be to make them into ornaments!! A ribbon can be felted into the top and just think.. hung from a tree or your rear view mirror = totally cute! Or stick them on your dash if you want a little driving companion. ♥ I’m in heaven and I want an entire army of kittens now!! :D

I am officially obsessed with needle felting.. yup, way too much fun and very therapeutic for creative souls! For me, it’s the stabbing, lol. ♥ Ok, in all seriousness, it is so cool to shape something out of wisps of wool roving and watch it all come together in the end.

I started first with an easier shape and made the apple. The leaf was a bit of a challenge since I don’t have templates and had to do it free hand, but I think it turned out ok. I loved the apple so much I wanted to make a golden delicious.. until my husband suggested that I make a snitch!! :O So I did and I love it! ♥ The wings were difficult, but I really wanted a snitch by that point so I was determined to make them work. haha!!

The penguins.. ♥ Absolutely love my penguinos!!!! :D I think I’ll make an army of these for Christmas!

I have not been idle!! :D

So first, I saw some teeny tiny envelopes on Etsy and wanted to see how tiny I can make them and still have them be usable. Well, I think these turned out super duper cute and you can still write little messages on them! Wouldn’t they be fun for your loved ones? Stick them in a kid’s lunch box or write a little love note for your significant other to find randomly.. super love! ♥

And then there’s my new obsession.. needle felting! I keep seeing felted acorns everywhere and they are so cute as autumn decorations scattered about or in a vase. I wanted to make some [well, first I have to go collect acorn caps], so I broke down and bought some felting needles and wool roving. SUPER EASY! All you do is stab?! What could be better and more satisfying than watching something come together 3-dimensionally?! I decided I’d better try something easier the first time around, so decided to make an apple.. it it pretty small and fits in the palm of my hand. The stem was probably the hardest for me to make, but I think it turned out really cute! ♥
